Good morning lovelies! I am back with a book that ya’ll need to hear about. Sabrina, Season of the Witch by Sarah Rees Brennan is the book that fills the gap in my soul while awaiting Season 3 of Sabrina on Netflix. This amazing book was sent to me, upon request after I read the Riverdale prequel; The Day Before by Micol Ostow…which subsequently I got my hands on Riverdale: Get Out of Town which is also perfect while awaiting the next season of the show!
Anywho, let’s get back to Sabrina! This story takes place before season one of the Netflix show. It’s the prequel, as I’ve said and just fills that missing gap before things start happening. Sabrina is trying to figure out where her and Harvey stand, Ambrose is instigating a love spell of sorts and there are lots of mysterious entities appearing. I particularly love the wishing well – read the book, you’ll see why! The alternating chapters were a lovely touch!
“Sabrina has always been attracted to the power of being a witch. But now she can’t help wondering if that power is leading her down the wrong path. Will she choose to forsake the path of light and follow the path of night?” – Keep your eye out for Sabrina, Season of the Witch appearing July 9th – and just so you don’t miss it, go preorder it!
Until next time my loves,
