I am going to try and be quick and to the point here, while still being as kind (yet honest) as possible.

I’ll preface by saying I have not read The Wife Between is, even though I have been wanting to. I was honored to receive this book both on Netgalley and in the mail. I forced myself to put off reading it knowing the publication date was not for some time.
I can hear you already Kat, why did you give it only two stars? Honestly, because I could not wait until it was over. So much, in fact, that I did something I never do. About 100 pages in, I skipped and read the final chapter. Kat, what?! Why did you do that?! Don’t worry, I asked myself the same dang thing.
I had this sinking feeling that I knew what was going on and I was so bored out of my mind that I just wanted to know. Because if I was right, I was going to refuse to read the rest of the book. Guess what? I was right.
So that being said, I am so glad I didn’t waste my time reading the entire thing; it just wasn’t for me. However, I’m going to give it two stars and not one because I feel like someone out there may love it. The writing style wasn’t terrible but the plot fell short.
Until next time,
Kat
