The Birthday Book Tag!

I ran across this fun post and a truly incredible blog…. The Birthday Book Tag!

So in lieu of my 30th birthday tomorrow … here we go

1 – BIRTHDAY CAKE – a book with a plot that seems cliche but you adore it anyway

Just Juliet is such a wonderful coming of age love story for teenage lesbians. A story I wish I’d had growing up

2 – PARTY GUESTS – your most anticipated book release this year

I’ve been dying to read the forth installment in this series and just haven’t had the time. I can not wait to dig into this.

3 – BIRTHDAY PRESENTS – a book that surprised you with how much you loved it

It took me a few chapters to get into this book but was pleasantly surprised with just how much I enjoyed it.

4 – THE HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONG – a book that certainly deserved all the hype it got

I mean….if you’re a reader…you’ve no doubt ran across this book and it’s sequel…

5 – HAPPY MUSIC – a book with some very beautiful and truly memorable quotes

I’ve developer my own quotes adapted from this book. I talk about ugly truths and facing them quite often.

6 – GETTING OLDER – a book that you read a long time ago, but you think that you would appreciate it more if you read it as a more mature reader

I read this in high school at the recommendation of a teacher. I loved it but I’ve been meaning to read it again because I’m sure I can take away more now, as an adult.

7 – Birthday Song – A book that’s kept you happy during sad times.

It should go without saying but if you didn’t see my last post – I re read this book every year in April on my dads birthday when I seem to miss him the most.
